Back then, they went by Roboshocks, and word spread fast. Drivers pushed them to the limit across some of the harshest tracks in the country — and they just kept coming back for more.
It wasn’t just the off-road crowd who took notice. Truckies — the kind who run their rigs like they stole ‘em — saw the potential. Tough roads, heavy loads, and no room for weak gear. With a few tweaks to suit heavy vehicles, Roboshocks found a new home under road trains and workhorses, earning a rep with owner-drivers and small fleets who needed gear they could trust.
In 2013, the next chapter kicked off. Assemco Pty Ltd, a top-tier manufacturer with deep roots in the Australian trucking industry, saw what Robo Shocks were doing and knew it was something special. They stepped with their manufacturing muscle to the table so RedRoo could crank out more shocks and get them into the hands of more drivers — both off-road maniacs, long-haul legends, and even speed racers.
With Assemco’s production power, a few upgrades were made — new seal assemblies, hardened shafts, and next-level durability — taking our shocks to a whole new level of bulletproof performance, all without messing with what made them great in the first place. And that’s when RedRoo Shocks was born.
