What makes RedRoo truck shock absorbers different from others on the market?
RedRoo Shocks are designed specifically for Australian conditions, offering superior durability, load-handling capability, and performance on rough terrain.
What pressure should I set for my shocks? (HV2000 series)
They are factory set with 50 psi of air/gas pressure and can be adjusted to as low as 20 psi or as high as 120 psi with a tyre inflator. Steer shocks optimum pressure is around 20-30 psi. Drive shocks could be set at 50 psi and adjusted from there to suit application. (The higher the pressure, the firmer it feels)
I just bought a set of HV2000 shocks and I am having trouble getting them to open. What should I do?
They are hard to open due to the rebound valving. We suggest to fit the shock absorber to the top mount and use a long bar through the bottom mount (if eye version) and lever it down, slowly apply pressure and make sure the shock is kept vertical (It is way harder when they are on an angle)
Do you offer custom built solutions?
